PHILOSOPHY

Before I even put pen to paper, I keep the past in mind while composing for the future.

How can my music draw on the cultural roots of the Chinese orchestra and preserve its integrity, while being adapted to modern aesthetics? Will it connect people from all walks of life? Would it play a role in developing Singapore's identity and represent us on a global platform?

Above all, I hope to create music that resonates with you.
